Dianella Speech Pathology

Dianella Speech Pathology is owned and run by Liana Gunzburg.  Liana qualified with a Bachelor of Applied Science (Speech & Hearing Science) from Curtin University (then WAIT) and has worked in Perth for over 30 years.  Prior to opening a private practice in 1995, Liana had experience working in hospitals, child health centres, Disability Services and the Neuroscience Unit. 

While running a private practice, Liana worked for seven years in a part-time capacity at the Scotch College Junior School.  This gave her considerable insight into the school environment and an even greater knowledge of literacy learning and teaching.

Liana is a Life Member of the Private Speech Pathologists Association of WA, having served twice as President and contributed significantly to the organisation over a 15 year period.

Liana has three adult sons and therefore has firsthand experience in child development and is very aware of the challenges of parenting.
